Globally, many groups fight and stand for human, civil, and migrant rights. Even with established laws to govern human rights and freedom, sometimes the powerful and the wealthy take advantage of the underprivileged who cannot fight back.

That said, in many different societies, it is possible for such people to find themselves vulnerable where they are discriminated against and denied justice.

Migrants can also find themselves facing discrimination and injustice. As such, groups that advocate for civil, human and migrant rights are essential in the society today. They stand for the oppressed by giving them a voice and seek for the implementation of the human rights that everyone deserves.

Human, Civil and Migrants Rights Groups

In the US, several groups advocate for civil, human, and migrant rights. These organizations are on the rise, their primary goal being to establish justice for all. They also stand to facilitate the right criminal justice systems, reinforce the rule of law and empower the society to promote justice for everyone. Some human rights advocates have already scrutinized and uncovered human right violations.

For instance, Heather Hamel, a US advocate, established a non-profit organization to set right the justice system. With a group of other attorneys, organizers, and activists, Heather has set up the foundation to reduce human rights abuse and racial profiling.

The program has exposed the increased imprisonment of black individuals. The organization looks into oppression and the ineffectiveness of the prison and criminal justice system. Read more: Michael Lacey | Facebook and Jim Larkin | Crunchbase

They filed a case against the county for damage and won $3.75 million for compensation. It is after they won the case and with the money that the Larkin & Lacey Frontera Fund was founded.

The organization helps the migrants and immigrants in Arizona by printing their stories and providing any assistance that they may need.
