Lori’s International Business Management Career
Lori Senecal first came to the limelight in 2009 when she was the global head of Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners (kbs+). She managed to transform the firm from a domestic agency to an international company within a record two and a half years. Previously, Lori was employed by McCann-Erickson Worldwide as the president of their New York office.
Lori as the President of MDC Partners
Lori assumed this role in 2014. Her responsibilities included accelerating growth by collaborating with the agencies affiliated with the MDC Partner Network. She was also put in charge of expanding MDC’s unique model and overseeing the firm’s strategic vision. Lori retained her job with MDC even after the CP+B appointment.
Lori Appointed To Be the Global CEO of CP+B
With eight international offices, CP+B qualifies to be an international firm. The company created a Global CEO position in March 2015 in a move aimed at cementing the company’s global presence. According to Chuck Porter, Chairman of CP+B, the company was looking for an innovative and experienced management specialist, with international connections to fill the new position. With her track record, no one could beat Lori Senecal to the post.
As the pioneer Global CEO, Lori Senecal had a lot in her hands. She was tasked with the responsibility of accelerating the firm’s global growth and engineering expansion. Operations in the eight international offices were left for her to manage and coordinate, and to foresee the completion of a ninth office in Hong Kong. She vowed to work hand-in-hand with Chuck Porter and all other talented members of CP+B community for the benefit of the firm.
Lori’s Global CEO tenure is nothing short of impressive so far. In less than a year in office, Lori managed to help the company to open the Hong Kong office. A year later, she led the company in opening a tenth global office in Beijing China that now serves three global accounts: Tencent, Infiniti, and American Airlines. Lori also guided CP+B to successfully convince the American Airline to advertise with them for the first time in over 25 years. The carrier was previously advertising through McCann affiliate TM Advertising.
Lori’s leadership and innovation skills were recognized during the AWNY Game Changer Awards of 2013 where she took home a Quantum Leap award. A year later, Advertising Age named her among the Women to Watch.
